Steve Marrs - Vice President

Stephen Marrs is the Vice President of Sales at the Ann Arbor based Gold Star Mortgage Financial Group. He is committed to educating and assisting clients with their financial needs while offering competitive interest rates with minimal costs. He began his real estate career in 1995 working for the largest privately owned property management company in Ann Arbor. Shortly thereafter Stephen entered the banking industry working for companies including Great Lakes, TCF, ABN/AMRO Mortgage Group, and Washtenaw Mortgage Company. During that time he developed wide and deep experience in all aspects of the mortgage industry. Stephen's knowledge of real estate, strong underwriting experience, and M.B.A. in finance from Wayne State University renders him a wealth of information that can be powerful when utilized for making financial real estate decisions. With over 15 years of experience in the industry, Steve has originated over $400 million in mortgage loans, and has originated for the children of his original clients. Steve and his staff live up to their word when they say that they will treat you like family.

Stephen is a Michigan native and has called Ann Arbor home for many years. He and his wife, Michelle, have three children, Maddalyn, Sophia, and Michael. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends and the occasional round of golf.
